Bookmarklet Info - A
bookmarklet is a java script link that you can add to your browser's
favorites or bookmarks list to add functionality.
To add the bookmarklet, right-click on the link and choose "Add to
Favorites". Or, most browsers let you click and drag the link up to the
Links on your toolbar, and then release the mouse. This gives you easy
access to the link.
Featured Bookmarklet:
Send Location(s) by e-mail
opens your browser's e-mail window with the current page's title as
the subject and the location as the message. If the page has
frames, each frame's location is also listed.
Searchroller
- From ResearchBuzz.com, this utility
lets you create a set of domains you want to search. It accepts a list of
domains (or folders within domains, like http://www.google.com/adsense/) and
rolls them into a bookmarklet that you can use to search that particular set
of domains whenever you like.

To create the alert:
1. Enter the database
2. Click on "Publication Search" or "Publications" (It varies according to
database)
3. Search for the title for which you want the alert
4. Click on the title and a screen will open up with a list to dates and
volumes (that you could browse, if you wish).
5. Click on "Set up Alert" or "Journal Alert"
6. Enter the email address that will receive the alert and any relevant
information about frequency, etc.
