Dedicated Books/Gifts in Honor or
Memory of Individuals
Recognize the contributions others have made to
our lives. Monetary gifts permit the Library to purchase new books dedicated
to these special people. What better way to acknowledge a family member
who attended Keystone College, one who helped finance your education, or a
professor who influenced you, than with a gift which will benefit future
students? All gifts to the Library are tax deductible.
To participate, or for more information, call
570.945.8332 or
email.
Donated Materials Guidelines
The Miller Library accepts materials which will
help support the curriculum of Keystone College. The Library also accepts
materials that will enhance
recreational reading, listening and viewing needs. Gifts will be accepted with the
understanding that they then become the property of Keystone College.
Decisions concerning retention, cataloging, and location will be made by
Library personnel. Any materials donated will be used as best suits the
interests of the Library and the College, and those not appropriate for adding to the
collection may be offered to other institutions as gifts or for exchange, or
may be donated to the Miller Library annual book sale, or may be discarded.
Donation receipts are available.
Factors which will be considered when accepting
or rejecting a particular gift include, but are not limited to, the
following: collection needs, format, language, physical condition,
duplication, timeliness/permanence, and availability elsewhere.
